It happened to me once with one of my new sites that I was waiting anxiously for the site to be indexed and visitors to start finding my articles and buying the products. I was totally perplexed and could not figure out for two weeks what was going on.
It happened to me, it happened to other people, and – believe me – it can happen to YOU!
What You Need to Do to Make Sure Your Site is Found By the Search Engines
This will only take a minutes of your time, I promise.
If you want your site be read by the search engines (you do!), you must make sure your blog is set to public, so that your content is visible to the search engines.
In your Administrator’s panel go to Settings, Privacy, and make sure that the first option is selected “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers“.
And that’s it, you are done!
